As parents, we stress over parties

As parents we stress over parties. We ask our children what they'd like, we ask ourselves if what we've chosen will bring them joy. It's exhausting. Our goal is to take that stress away and do the planning, set-up, and pick up of everything for you. Goodness, I wish I had had a Petit Jubilee to call on for myself this past weekend. It was my daughter's birthday. Due to Covid-19, I wanted everyone to feel comfortable by having everything done outside. Our daughter wanted an outdoor dinner, her dad to make homemade pizzas, and outdoor movie night, etc. That sounded great, but we didn't have enough time in a day to get it all set up and looking like I dreamt up in my head. We had another party to set up as well, so it became stressful for me to do it all. I didn't even remember to take pictures. Thank God for my Mother-in-law and my friend's daughter who took my phone and took some pictures for me. No one should have to do it all for parties, no one! Where was my Petit Jubilee? These kids didn't have a clue I was stressed and rushed. They had a blast! They decorated cupcake boxes, cupcakes, etc.

I made Popcorn/Candy Caddies for each child and included some ribbon and tags to personalize them. We also made "Sugar Factory" type drinks for the kids that they went bananas for!

Each child got a bag filled with goodies to take home.

My husband made these tables for their dinner. I made a balloon runner and strung garland and lanterns above the table. They LOVED it!

They each got to decorate cupcakes.

They each received a tray with sprinkles and goodies to choose from as well as their own piping bag of homemade icing.

I made her cake from scratch. It was a Strawberry Cake with Cream Cheese Icing.

My husband made pizzas in the Ooni Pizza Oven. We were rushing to make them and had a rough start burning the tops and not the bottoms. Once we took a breath and let it heat up like we should have, they were amazing! We made so many pizzas! My brother in law and I were pizza making machines!

They had an ice cream bar set up for their toppings (not all shown in this picture).

The girls moved the balloons and the 7 was turned, but they liked their set-up. We brought more pillows over from the dining area too, so they were nice and cozy.
